Butte Bounce is a physics-based endless runner where your goal is to bounce as far as possible on a series of pillars that get further and further apart. You tap on the left half of the screen to move to the left and the right half of the screen to move to the right, while your armadillo character gets higher and higher with each bounce.
On the left is some concept art put together by my artist Joel, while the right is what the game currently looks like. After the first few tutorial pillars they quickly get brutally narrow and gradually begin to spread out as you progress. They vary slightly in height and width meaning you can get a bit of a rhythm going, but can’t simply start bouncing and continue indefinitely without any player input.
